Lab: Computer Astronomy

 

You will have the opportunity to explore the world of astronomy on your own. There are many good sites having to do with astronomy.  You can check them out. 

You must keep a record of your explorations and stay on task.

 

A. Complete your double bubble classwork to turn in before the end of the period.

 

B. Find out from the NASA Site about our explorations of the solar system.

       1. Make a table like below and fill in the spacecraft that have gone there and what they found.  Note if they are still active.

     Use National Geographic, Windows on the Universe or The Nine Planets sites.

       Possibly try:

Or work through the sites to investigate the solar system or galaxies.
